There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Genesis 6:4

Para-humans are a great threat to God’s people in whatever way they manifest.  You must watch out for them and overcome the danger they pose by using the wisdom of God.  You have to deal with para-humans with the wisdom of God.  Sometimes you have to deal with para-human activity by avoiding them.  Sometimes civilization, development and democracy are things that have limited the power of para-humans and super-humans in this world.  Sometimes, it is a well developed army, police and a good government that deal with para-human activity on earth.  If there were no civilization, democracy or police, bullies and tyrants would roam the streets and terrorise ordinary people.  Para-humans would spread their fear and influence everything, if left unchecked.

1. Block the activity of para-humans that are giants.

Giants were a real threat in the olden days when size meant power.  Giants were a great threat to God’s people all through the Bible.  There were many threats from giants against God’s people in Bible times.   Some of the famous giants were people like Goliath who threatened David’s life and ministry.  There were other giants in the land of Canaan who threatened the life and ministry of Moses, Joshua and Caleb.

And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.

1 Samuel 17:4

The story of David and Goliath is a story about real people who were threatened by super human giants.  Goliath threatened to wipe out God’s people because of his super human size.

Joshua and Caleb’s team of spies were also threatened by giants in the land of Canaan.

And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Numbers 13:32-33

David and his mighty men had to fight other giants, including the brother of Goliath.

And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff was like a weaver’s beam.

And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant.  But when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David’s brother slew him.

1 Chronicles 20:5-7

Fortunately, in our time the large sizes of both animals and humans have already been wiped out.  It is not easy for oversized human beings or animals to continue to thrive as their large size paradoxically makes them more vulnerable.

2. Block the activity of para-humans that come with unusual strength.

When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an evil spirit came from the tombs to meet him.  This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him any more, not even with a chain.  For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him.

Mark 5:2-4 (NIV)

Anybody with super-human strength can be a threat.  The mad man of Gadara was a threat to the people around because no one could control him.   Strong men have often posed a threat to the rest of their community by becoming bullies and tyrants.

Fortunately today, you cannot easily threaten people because of your unusual strength.  Super human strength is easily neutralised by modern technology.  Modern weapons like guns, bombs and grenades neutralise the super-human strength of fighters and bullies.  There are many films about fighters and bullies which we all enjoy watching.  Fighters and bullies are of great interest to the human race because of their great power.  Once again, wisdom from God has nullified the powers of para-humans endowed with unusual strength.

3. Block the activity of para-humans with superhuman wickedness.

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2 Timothy 3:3

There are people who are well known to be very wicked.  History has experienced the wickedness of tyrants like Nero, Caligula, Hitler and Atilla the Hun. Their wickedness is legendary. When such people have power, their evil is unleashed on people.

Such people are a threat to their world.  When men without compassion exercise their superhuman wickedness on the population, it is not easy to even exist in the country.

People who lack compassion are a threat to society. When these people are in power, they unleash their lack of compassion on the people. There should be some amount of pity in the heart of a person.  That pity would usually limit the manifestations of wickedness.

Fortunately, the wisdom of democracy wipes out the power of people with super human wickedness.  A good and effective police force and military also limits the powers of people who lack compassion.  Good Christians must fight demons by supporting the presence of a good police service and a good government.  Sometimes you may have to leave a country to avoid the bullies and tyrants who have come into power.

4. Block the activity of para-human sexual desires.

Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.

Romans 1:24 (NIV)

Para-human sexual desires refer to when people do not have a natural desire any more.  You must prevent yourself from developing para-normal sexual desires.  Some para-humans are super sex machines.  Such people have abnormal quantities of abnormal sex.  There are people who go around with great desires to have sex all the time.  Many have fallen victim to such sexual predators.  Some people even marry people with such desires for abnormal sex.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.  In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.

Romans 1:26-28 (NIV)

As mentioned earlier, para-human sexual desires refer to when people do not have a natural desire any more.  In the scripture above, men have a desire for other men instead of having a desire for women.  Some human beings have abandoned natural relations and adopted para-normal sexual desires as their norm.  Some have abandoned natural relations and given themselves to sexually desire after animals.  Some have abandoned the natural relations for adults and adopted para-normal sexual desires for children.

As evil spirits take over human beings, they begin to call these para-human desires “human rights”.  Today, people are fighting for the right to marry animals.

As evil spirits dominate human beings, they call the reading of our ancient scriptures “hate speech”.  These evil spirits seek to dominate human society until super-human and para-human behaviour is accepted as normal.  It is indeed the invasion of human beings by evil spirits that creates gross abnormalities in human behaviour.

By the reading of the scriptures and by standing firmly by what the Word of God says, the onslaught of para-human sexual desires will neither affect you nor influence you.
