READ: Hebrews 10:32-39
“Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience ” – James 1:3
Patiently waiting for the will of God will make you bear much fruit for the Lord. People enter the imperfect will of God because of their impatience.
If the people had patiently waited for Moses to come down from the mountain they would never have entered the forty-year wilderness phase of their lives.
Being in the wilderness for forty years was not the perfect will of God. Forty years in the wilderness was the imperfect will of God that was imposed on the children of Israel because of their impatience. May you be delivered from having a wilderness season thrust upon you because of impatience!
When the people saw how long it was taking Moses to come back down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron. “Come on,” they said, “make us some gods who can lead us. We don’t know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt” (Exodus 32:1, NLT).
People enter the imperfect will of God because of human manipulation. Trusting in God is not easy. We are often tempted to do something to change things. God knows best. You must trust Him and believe that all things work together for good.
