Pastors must stir themselves up to take hold of God. Pastors must stir up the people to love God, to follow God and to serve God. If the leader does not encourage the people and stir them up, people will not serve the Lord. When a pastor stirs up the people, they will be stirred to take hold of God themselves.
People need to be stirred up to love. We often hear the exhortation, “Husbands, love your wives.” This is important because without the exhortation, there will be very little love.
