READ: Hebrews 9:1-12, 24-28
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10
There are many advantages of going deeper in the things of God. If you go deeper, you will do more! If you go deeper in God, you will find yourself enjoying a much greater dimension of the Lord. What are some of the areas you can go deeper into?
That’s how everything was arranged in the holy tent. The priests entered it at regular times. They went into the outer room to do their work for God and others. BUT ONLY THE HIGH PRIEST WENT INTO THE INNER ROOM. He went in only once a year.
Hebrews 9:6-7 (NIRV)
The Holy of Holies is the inner chamber of God. That is the inner room where the holiest presence of God is found. You can stay outside the tabernacle where the masses gather. You can go deeper into the outer court of the tabernacle. You can go even deeper into the holy place. But you can go into the deepest realm of God that is called the Holy of Holies. In the old covenant, only the High Priest dared to venture into this innermost sanctum.
Today, there is a realm in God you can penetrate in which you experience the holiest of holies. What does it mean to experience the holiest of holies? It is to experience the presence of God in a real way. Normally, you and I are aware of the weather, the temperature, the humidity, the chair we are sitting on and the people that are around us; but there is a realm in God where you can feel His presence. It is time to start feeling more than the temperature and the humidity of the room you are in. When you start feeling his presence in a real way, you are entering into the Holy of Holies.
