READ: Matthew 4:24-25
“…thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap” – Revelation 14:15
There is a time that God grants enlargement and expansion. In the Scripture above, the angel declared in the heavenly realms that the time had come to reap a great harvest in the earth. This was not just any ordinary harvest but a time of great productivity and fruitfulness. If you study the lives of ministers, you will notice a particular time at which they become greatly enlarged and extremely well known.
This is a kind of enlargement and visibility that God grants to His servants at a time He has already determined. This enlargement enables the minister to reap a mighty harvest for the Lord. Usually, there is much preparation and suffering before this season of enlargement. This season of preparation is to humble His servant so that he can carry the awesome responsibility of an enlarged and visible ministry.
There was a time when Jesus’ brothers urged Him to prematurely enter His season of enlargement and high public visibility. Jesus knew all about the implications of such a high profile and visible ministry. He declined because it was not yet time for such thing
