READ: Galatians 1:13-24

But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.” – Galatians 1:23

Many people claim to be born again but there is no great change in their lives. After you are saved, you must fight to experience a great change in your life. What is the point of salvation if there is no great change in you? How can you be as lazy as you were before, as immoral as you were before, or as quarrelsome as you were before? Salvation is supposed to bring about a great change in you.

When I got born again, my mother commented to one of her friends. She said, “I don’t know and I don’t understand what it means to be born again but one thing I know is that my son has changed.” You see, people who don’t go to church must be able to see a great change in you. People who don’t understand Christianity must be able to see that a great change has come over you. Most unbelievers will never read the Bible. However, most unbelievers, who will never read the Bible, will meet you. They will interact with you. You will be the message of salvation to them. Your changed life will be the testimony they need to see. The great change in your life will speak to them. They will look at the change in your life and be inspired.

The fact that there is no change in your life since you got saved does not mean that your salvation is not real. Salvation is very real. Jesus changes lives. If your life is not changed, it is because there are certain things you are not doing properly
