READ: Isaiah 12:1-6
Sing unto the Lord; for HE HATH DONE EXCELLENT THINGS: this is known in all the earth. – Isaiah 12:5
God does strange and marvellous things in our lives when His presence is there. When you enjoy His presence, you will see excellent things being done all the time. The Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee is the cause of excellent things. When you see someone who is able to do excellent and wonderful things for God, it is because of the Lord in the midst of His people. I once saw a glorious church. It was beautiful to behold. It was excellent in its working. I knew immediately that the Lord was in the midst of that church. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: FOR GREAT IS THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL IN THE MIDST OF THEE. Isaiah 12:5-6
It is the presence of God that causes excellent, beautiful and wonderful things to happen.Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart. Job 37:23-24
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: Psalm 8:1-5
