FOR HARD TIMES…
READ: Hebrews 12:1-15
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. :-Revelation 3:10
One of the things that happens when you are developing in the “Word of my patience” is that you grow in a wise and true estimation of yourself and how wrong you are, how weak you are, how problematic you are and how much grace you need.
It takes time, endurance and strength of character to go through the different phases of life and ministry until you are bearing the kind of fruit you saw in the dreams and visions of God. The dreams and visions of God are His “Word of my patience” to you.
God loves you! But He will not lower His standards for you. If Jesus went through hardships that require patience, meekness and forgiveness, you will also go through hardships, which require patience, meekness and forgiveness.
The call of God is without repentance. What God said will surely come to pass. Though it tarries, wait for it for it will surely come (Habakkuk 2:3).
God is going to use you mightily: that is an example of a “Word of my patience”.
You are going to become a great man of God: that is another “Word of my patience”.
A thousand will fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand: that is a “Word of my patience”.
When a man has found a wife, he has found a good thing and obtained favour with God. You have found a good thing and you have obtained favour with God: that is a “Word of my patience”.
All these statements are prophecies! They are all examples of the “Word of my patience”. With time, with patience, with fortitude, with calmness, with composure, with tolerance and endurance, you will see every single one of these prophecies come to pass in your life.
