READ: Hebrews 5:5-10
“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;” – Hebrews 5:8-9
Jesus said that He experienced the presence of God continually because He ALWAYS obeyed God. Jesus always pleased God!
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; FOR I DO ALWAYS THOSE THINGS THAT PLEASE HIM. John 8:29
Those who obey God have the presence of God with them. Obedience to the will of God is the master key to walking in a continual presence of God. Do you want to experience the will of the Father? Decide to live a life that pleases God continually. Men of God who do not please God do not have the presence of God with them. They may be bishops, reverend ministers, pastors or anything else. But the presence of God may not be there. The mighty presence is a product of pleasing God.
Many men of God are living in disobedience. Many of us assume we know the will of God but are actually far from God. Disobedience to the call of God is the fast track route away from the presence of God. This is why you can see men of God quoting scriptures and speaking great words of wisdom but lacking the real presence of God. Samson lost the presence of God and did not even know it. In the same way many of us pastors do not even know that the presence of God is simply not there.
And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head…, and his strength went from him. And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him. Judges 16:19-20
