Some people wonder how this world came into existence. Stop searching and read the Bible. God made the world through the power of the spoken Word.
He spoke the world into existence by simple and powerful pronouncements. “Let there be light…” and there was light!
God wants us to imitate Him. Ephesians 5:1 tells us to be imitators of God. That means that we must be holy, because God is holy. That means we must be righteous, because we are imitating a righteous God. It also means that we are to frame our world by making declarations.
Your life is an important and complex thing, but your tongue can control it. Declare that your blessings are permanent! Claim your promotion in this life, in the name of Jesus! Openly thank the Lord that no weapon formed against you will prosper! Declare that you are marching on! I see you marching on and the gates of Hell cannot stop you! I see you free from the power of sin, shame and disgrace!
Be an imitator of God in this aspect of commanding, claiming, announcing and insisting on your blessings! Begin to imitate your heavenly Father by affirming, declaring, demanding, maintaining, asserting and pronouncing your breakthrough. That is the God-kind of faith.
