“Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, THE VEIL OF THE TEMPLE WAS RENT IN TWAIN from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;” – Matthew 27:50-51
When Jesus’ body was broken, the veil in the temple was also torn apart. The tearing away of the veil symbolized the removal of the thing that had hidden God from man. The veil that covered God had now been torn apart and God was available to man. Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. People who have communion and believe in it deeply experience a greater presence of God. The flesh of Jesus Christ is the veil and that veil is torn away in communion, revealing the presence of God. He that eats the flesh and drinks the blood experiences the dwelling of the presence of God.
The flesh of Jesus Christ is important for you to experience the presence of God. Every time you have communion, you eat the flesh of Jesus Christ and tear away the veil to the presence of God.
For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. John 6:55-56
There is a church that has emphasized the Holy Communion for hundreds of years. Even though hundreds of years have gone by, they still represent God and Jesus Christ in a way that many churches do not. It is the constant tearing of the veil that has allowed the presence of God to continue in that church, making it one of the most prominent and powerful churches in the world today.
