READ: Acts 4:23-31

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness” – Acts 4:31

Those who pray bring about a filling of the Spirit in the most powerful way. Many ministers are not prayerful. But the absence of the presence of God cannot be hid. The disciples experienced the manifest presence of God when they prayed. Prayer made the presence of God fill the room. The whole house where they were was shaken.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:31

Those who are prayerful have the presence of God. Jesus walked in the presence of God. Jesus experienced several manifestations of God’s presence. Most of them had to do with His times of prayer. He experienced the manifest presence of God in the River Jordan and actually heard the voice of God. He experienced this when He prayed and whilst praying. He also experienced glory and presence when He went up to the mountain to pray!

Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. Luke 3:21-22

And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
