READ: Genesis 3:1-9
“And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and ADAM AND HIS WIFE HID THEMSELVES FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD GOD …. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, where art thou?” – Genesis 3:8-9
The presence of God was with Adam. Everyday, the Lord God would fellowship with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day.
The presence of God was with Enoch.
ENOCH WALKED WITH GOD after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. Genesis 5:22 (ESV)
The presence of God was with Abraham.
Then THE LORD APPEARED TO ABRAM and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he us built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. Genesis 12:7 (ESV)
The presence of God was with Isaac.
And the Lord appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, FOR I AM WITH THEE, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake. Genesis 26:24
The presence of God was with Jacob.
BEHOLD, I AM WITH YOU and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.” Genesis 28:15 17 (ESV)
