READ: Revelation 4:1-11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 4:11
We were created to give pleasure to God. Unfortunately, in the last days people will shift away from their pre-ordained destiny. Eighteen moral blemishes will characterize the human race of the last days. Men will love money, love themselves and love pleasures. Instead of trying to bring pleasure to God, they will concentrate on bringing pleasure to themselves.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (lovers of money,) boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2 Timothy 3:2-4
Your calling and destiny is to bring pleasure to God and not to yourself. You must seek God’s great pleasure. What does God want from you? What makes Him happy? God is happy when you give Him your love, your heart, your worship, your honour, your money, your children and your soul.
God will receive pleasure when you give Him your love! Give Him all your love.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:37-38
God will receive pleasure when you give Him your heart! Give Him all your heart.
My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
Proverbs 23:26
The purpose of life has been stated by God. We were and are created for His pleasure. Once human beings do not live simply for the pleasure of God and their Creator, other futile purposes are thrown to them as possible pursuits that they may undertake. Do not shift away from your pre-ordained destiny.
