READ: John 4:46–53

So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman… When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him…
John 4:46-47

The nobleman went to Jesus. It is important that you make special journeys that will stir up the gift of God. The nobleman stirred up the gift of God by going to Jesus when He heard that he was in the Galilee area. Capernaum is a long way from Cana. The nobleman went all the way from Cana to Capernaum to see Jesus and ask for His help.

There are many people who cannot lift their bodies out of their beds to even sit up to hear the Word of God. Many people are too lazy to take a short journey hear the Word of God. Jesus commended the Queen of Sheba because she travelled all the way to hear the wisdom of Solomon. By this, Jesus was commending all those who make special journeys to see and to hear the Word of God.

Many years ago, I took a special journey to Tulsa, Oklahoma to see and hear Kenneth Hagin speaking. It was an important journey in my life. God blessed me through Kenneth Hagin.

For the last twenty years, I have been going regularly to Korea to sit under the ministry of David Yonggi Cho. My journey to Tulsa, Oklahoma stirred up the gift of a prophet and a teacher. My journey to Korea stirred up the pastoral gift and the anointing for church growth.

Travelling and moving will always stir up the power of God in your direction. There were many other noblemen and important people who probably had sick children. But none of them received a miracle, except the nobleman who travelled to see Jesus.
