READ: Proverbs 30:18-19
There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not: The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid. – Proverbs 30:18-19
When a man is in love, people cannot advise him on what the right thing to do is. He almost seems mad because of the love that is so strong in his heart. I remember a couple in my church who were just sixteen years old. No one could advise them to break up their relationship. Even when they seemed to agree that they were too young, they continued in the madness of their love.
When you have first love for God, you will not need to have discussions about the will of God. Your passionate love will make you go out and do ‘mad things’ for Jesus. You will go out and bring others to God! You will pray for people to be saved! You will lead them to Christ!
You may be a student, but you will still serve God. People may suggest that you wait till you finish your studies. People said to me, “Brother Dag, take your time!” But my love for God could not allow me to slow down.
Your love for God will guide you on to a higher purpose. When I was a student, I did not need to have a vision, a dream or a voice to know what to do. My love for God told me to start a fellowship. My love for God told me to go preaching in the different halls of residence. My love for God made me fast. My love for God made me pray for hours. Love for God is a wonderful revelation and guide for your life and ministry. Your love for God will definitely guide you to make full proof of the ministry
