READ: Ecclesiastes 4:1-4
“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished” – Proverbs 22:3
Every good doctor must be able to diagnose the problem of his patient, which constitutes eighty per cent of the solution. Your job is to listen to the story, think about the problem, examine the situation and come up with an analysis of what is going on.
When you do not think about the work you are doing, you often cannot do it well. You must be consumed with your work, and you must think about it all the time. As someone said, “You will only be remembered for your obsession.” I notice that some of my employees hardly think about the jobs that they do. They are not obsessed, and it shows. A great thinker always comes up with solutions to intractable problems (Ecclesiastes 4:1).
A person who thinks about his work constantly comes up with improvement. A person who thinks a lot about his work will hear the Spirit of God whispering direction. A person who thinks will be open to brilliant and life-changing ideas (Ecclesiastes 9:13,16).
A person who thinks a lot will come up with new goals and visions (Ecclesiastes 1:16). A person who thinks a lot will receive wisdom (Ecclesiastes 1:13).
