READ: Proverbs 4:1-7
“And shall make him of quick understanding…” – Isaiah 11:3
In order to improve your overall speed, you must improve your speed in key areas of your life. For example, improve your speed of understanding. Avoid long arguments that only destroy relationships. Become a person of quick understanding. Avoid long meetings!
Try to think like your leader! If God has sent you, try to think the way God thinks. Let His mind be your mind. Try to understand the burden and the purpose that God has.
“But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts” (1 Thessalonians 2:4).
What is God’s burden today? God’s burden is the salvation of the fallen human race! Jesus has sent us into the world to proclaim His Word. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. God’s heart is bleeding for the souls of pitiful human beings who are perishing all over the world today.
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
Do not do anything that is different from the vision of the one who has sent you. Improve your speed of understanding. Try to follow His way. Try to think the way your leader is thinking.
“And he that hath sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him” (John 8:29).
