READ: Exodus 33:12-16
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of REFRESHING shall come FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD; – Acts 3:19
The presence of God has many benefits. All though the Bible, you see the importance of living in the presence of God and enjoying the effects of God being with you. I want us to go through some of the amazing benefits of the presence of God.
• The presence of God gives rest all around.
It’s not worth going around without God’s presence. Your struggles and your striving are evidence that you lack the presence of God. Where the presence of God is, there is rest and peace. God’s presence takes care of many things. You will enjoy peace when you learn to abide in the presence of God. You will learn that it is God’s power that works for you and gives you the victory.
And he said, MY PRESENCE SHALL GO WITH THEE, AND I WILL GIVE THEE REST. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? IS IT NOT IN THAT THOU GOEST WITH US? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. Exodus 33:14-16
• The presence of the Lord brings refreshing.
When you feel refreshed it is because of the presence of the Lord. People who are stale and unable to walk in newness in ministry prove that they lack the presence of God. When someone ministers and you sense freshness, you are sensing the presence of God. When you go to church and come back feeling refreshed, it is because you experienced the presence of God.
