THEY GO FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH, EVERY ONE OF THEM APPEARS before God in Zion. – Psalms 84:7 (NASB)
Gathering is to make the people hear the Word. Every time the people gather, they are strengthened. A “Gathering” campaign is to assemble all members of all groups together in one place. Gather the sheep into one large gathering so that they can receive the Word with power. Specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me, GATHER ME THE PEOPLE TOGETHER, and I WILL MAKE THEM HEAR MY WORDS, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children. Deuteronomy 4:10
AND I WILL STRENGTHEN THEM IN THE LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD. Zechariah 10:12
Gathering of the people causes the land to be subdued and brought under control, and counteracts the scattering caused by devils. Large gatherings of God’s people bring the nation under control. The presence of God’s people subdues the land. When the enemies of God see that there is no shepherd they come to scatter the people. The gathering of the people is the exact opposite of what the devil does. Gathering is an anti-demonic activity. Counteract the works of demons in the church by gathering the crowds.
And THE WHOLE CONGREGATION OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL ASSEMBLED TOGETHER AT SHILOH, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And THE LAND WAS SUBDUED BEFORE THEM. Joshua 18:1
