READ: Ecclesiastics 9: 10-11
“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” – Ecclesiastics 9:11
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were men of skill and were appointed to work directly with the king. As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: … And the king communed with them; …therefore stood they before the king. Daniel 1:17,19
Daniel was a man of skill and was given great visions. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. Daniel 9:22

Chenaniah was skilful in singing so he instructed in music. And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful. 1 Chronicles 15:22
