REACH FORWARD!
READ: Philippians 3: 8-16
And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:-Exodus 14:15
God has His eyes on you and that is why He is giving you this special privilege of shepherding. The only way to overcome sad and bad things that have happened is to forget them. Only God can heal certain things! It is time for you to forget about the past so that you can reach out and be the shepherd that God wants you to be.
Reach forward to the privileges that are before you. Keep your eyes also on the blessings of becoming royalty in Heaven.
1. You will have the honour of wearing a crown, jewels, and beautiful royal clothes.
2. You will have the honour of staying in a palace, having many servants, and having special food made for you.
3. You will have the honour of relating with other members of the royal family in Heaven, and the honour of learning the King’s protocol.
4. You will be closer to the throne and closer to where the action is.
5. You will have the honour of going for royal tours and royal holidays, the honour of greeting the public with a royal wave, and will be celebrated as royalty throughout eternity.
God has called you to do great things for Him. You must reach forward to the mark of the high calling. You must reach forth to the privileges that seem to be out of range. It is only by reaching forth to new things that you will forget the past and bear fruit.
If you are following the Holy Spirit, you are not likely to be at the same spot in a year’s time. The Spirit is always moving and as you follow Him, the main characteristic of your life will be movement. I see God changing things and shifting things around!
