OBEY & ABOUND
READ: John 2:1-10
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

The miracle of turning water into wine reveals the power of obedience to release the supernatural power of provision. The power of God was stirred up to deliver them from embarrassment. Stir up abundance by obedience.
The miracle in Cana of Galilee saw water being turned into wine. This miracle happened in front of many guests. Jesus’ mother knew that her son was anointed. At least she knew that He was an unusual child and that He had some powers that she had not given to Him.
Even though Jesus’ mother did not fully understand her son, she knew that there was something they would do that would stir up His “magical” powers. “His mother saith unto the servants, whatsoever he saith unto you, do it” (John 2:5). In other words, Jesus’ mother was telling the servants to be a hundred per cent obedient to Jesus. If they were obedient and followed all that He said to the letter, she knew that miracle power would be stirred up. Just obey everything He says and you will see the power of God. Indeed, obedience is the master key to stirring up the power of God.
When you walk in obedience, the power of God begins to flow. Many things that look impossible become possible when you walk in obedience to God’s command. Jesus said very clearly: He that keeps my commandments will experience a manifestation of God’s love and God’s presence (John 14:21).
