READ: Mark 5:1-20

And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. …AND THEY BEGAN TO PRAY HIM TO DEPART OUT OF THEIR COASTS” – Mark 5:15-17

Rejection is to be asked to leave! It is to be asked to get out! It is to be asked not to come near! Jesus Christ was rejected by a village of Samaritans. He was also rejected in the country of the Gadarenes.

And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. AND THEY DID NOT RECEIVE HIM, BECAUSE HIS FACE WAS AS THOUGH HE WOULD GO TO JERUSALEM. Luke 9:51-53

And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.

AND THEY BEGAN TO PRAY HIM TO DEPART OUT OF THEIR COASTS. Mark 5:15-17

When you are asked to leave it is a great sign of dishonour. On occasion, you may be openly rejected by people who do not regard you at all.

There are times we have attempted to have crusades in certain cities where the pastors have refused to host us. We have experienced hostility and rejection from certain countries where we were told categorically that we were not welcome.

When you are rejected, it is because they do not respect you. If some other person was coming they may have opened their arms and doors to them. Watch out for those who reject you outright. It is a sign that they do not honour you. Those whom they honour, they receive!
