READ: 1 Corinthians 2:3-8
“For as many as are LED BY THE SPIRIT of God, they are the SONS OF GOD.” – Romans 8:14
When you are led by the Holy Spirit, you will not live your life as an ordinary person. You will live your life as a son of God. Your ability to be led by the Holy Spirit is probably the most important skill that you must develop as a Christian. If you can learn how to be led by the Spirit, you will constantly be led away from an ordinary human existence to a higher and better life. Whenever God leads you, do not struggle with Him. He is leading you to the exit that takes you away from the curses in this world.
When I finished medical school, the Holy Spirit directed me to give myself wholly to the ministry. That direction which came from the Holy Spirit and the Word of God caused me to rise above most of my colleagues and fellow strugglers. The life I now live could never have been given to me by being a medical doctor.
On another occasion, I found the Lord leading me away from debt and I entered into a realm of unusual prosperity. Little did I know, when I was being directed away from debt, that I was being made to exit the cursed path of indebtedness, frustration and poverty.
On many occasions, I found the Lord leading me to build something. Little did I know that simply getting involved in building was enabling my exit from the cursed existence that is everywhere. The day you start building is the day you start rising above the curse of inferiority.
The combination of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit is the wisdom of God for your life: 1 Corinthians 2:7.
