READ: Galatians 5:16-25
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22-23
You must pray for the Holy Spirit so that you bear the fruits of the Spirit. As you receive the Holy Spirit through your prayers, the fruit of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, gentleness will become your second nature.
The Holy Spirit comes along with fruit. The fruit of the Spirit is the result of the long-term presence of the Holy Spirit. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, you will begin to exhibit beautiful characteristics that do not come from your earthly family, but from God Himself. Everyone will enjoy you more. Your weaknesses and deficiencies will be covered by the Spirit of God and His fruit.
Your personal testimony of how Jesus has changed you and how the power of God has transformed you is the best witness for Jesus Christ. You can be a witness of Jesus Christ. A witness of Jesus Christ is someone who stands up to give a testimony that Jesus is real.
Many people cannot stand up and declare that they are Christians. To be a witness, you must stand up in public to declare what you have seen and what you know. You have to tell people, “See how I have changed! Look at the difference He has made in my life! Everyone will look at you and believe in Jesus Christ. That is what happens when you are a witness.
You must pray for the Holy Spirit so that you have power to be a witness of Jesus Christ.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8
