READ: Matthew 5:1-12
“One day as he saw the crowds gathering, Jesus went up on the mountainside and sat down. His disciples gathered around him, and he began to teach them.” – Matthew 5:1, NLT
The power of God was present when Jesus was teaching. People were sitting around casually but the power of God was present. When you are in the presence of a great person, always expect the power of God to be present. Be open to the power of God. Expect to hear great things. Expect to hear short sentences and phrases that will change your life. Expect snippets that will revolutionise your entire existence.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 As he spake these words, many believed on him. John 8:30
I once had the privilege of being alone at dinner with a great man of God. I heard great words that became great keys to my ministry. This man of God asked me a very important question. Then he gave me one of the most important secrets for my ministry. Always expect the power of God to be present when you are in the presence of a great person. Expect to hear something that will change your life and ministry.
And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Luke 5:17,31-32
